The Grafton Hoops Developmental League registration is now open! This league provides boys in 1st-4th Grades the opportunity to play the game of basketball through organized practices and game play. Each session players will participate in station work followed by games. Teams will be chosen after the first week, which will strictly be player evaluation during stations. Every week after that, teams will have the opportunity to work with different coaches during station work time, before getting together with their team coach and competing.

DATES: Saturdays - Jan. 4, 11 & 18th, Feb. 1, 8 & 15
TIMES: 10-11 a.m. (1-2nd grade) & 11:15 a.m.-12:15 pm (3rd-4th grade)
Price: $35 per player, includes shirt

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE?
A: Any boy who wants to develop the basic fundamentals of basketball, have fun, and learn the values of being part of the Grafton Basketball program are eligible to participate. Players do not need to reside within the Grafton School District boundary lines to be eligible to participate.
Q: WHAT SHOULD MY SON WEAR?
A: Players will receive a t-shirt that should be worn for all Sessions. Gym Shoes do not have to be for basketball only but please do not wear outdoor shoes on the gym floors. Change into your shoes worn for basketball after you enter the building and before playing on the gym floors.
Q: ARE PARENTS REQUIRED TO STAY?
A: Parents do not need to be present; however please be available in case of an emergency and be back in time to pick up your child promptly.
Q: WHO WORKS WITH THE PLAYERS AND/OR COACHES THE TEAMS?
A: We need parent coaches to volunteer to coach the teams. Anyone interested in coaching should indicate that on the Registration Form. In addition, the Traveling Team coaches should be there to help on days that they aren't scheduled to play in a tournament.
Q: WHAT IF MY SON CANNOT MAKE IT ONE OR MORE SESSIONS?
A: We would like to see every player participate every Session but we also realize that this may be impossible. Please always let your son's coach know if he will be unable to attend a session.
